Delaware HVAC Bids & Mechanical Contracting Opportunities
Delaware keeps state solicitations in one place, which makes public HVAC and mechanical work easier to find than in most states. Private commercial construction is harder: we have not found a public data feed for it yet.
This page covers where Delaware bids appear, how to get alerts, and where ExpansionSignal's Delaware coverage stands.

Government HVAC contracts in Delaware
One directory for state solicitations. The Bid Solicitation Directory lists each open solicitation with its contract number, title, open date, deadline and agency. HVAC and mechanical work can appear as an Invitation to Bid for construction or as an RFP or RFQ for service and maintenance contracts, so search both.
Read the amendments. Delaware posts amendments as separate items on each solicitation's detail page and makes the bidder responsible for downloading them. The state also notes that some solicitations fall under multiple source contracting (29 Del. C. § 6926), where more than one vendor can be awarded.
Private commercial construction in Delaware
Private projects, such as healthcare expansions, warehouses and office fit-outs, don't go through the state directory. We checked the directory for a data export or feed on October 25, 2026 and found none, so Delaware records are researched and checked by hand before they are published.
Bidding on public work in Delaware is similar to neighboring states. Our guide on qualifying for government mechanical contracts compares Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
